The COVID-19 epidemic has changed primary care. Telemedicine and emerging outpatient settings need difficult decisions. Even in changing practice settings, primary care clinicians must prioritize preventive medicine, address cardiovascular risk factors, manage daily clinical issues, manage chronic diseases, improve communication, and maximize diagnostic tests and new medications. We work to improve quality, safety, justice, and efficiency by addressing health inequities and caring for vulnerable people. Working with other experts, inpatient colleagues, and health professional teams is essential to providing the best care for difficult patients. UCSF CME Essentials Of Primary Care 2022 course covers common problems, clinical skills, and problem-solving in dermatology, women’s health, infectious diseases, COVID-19, oncology, acute care, clinical nutrition, communication skills, and evidence-based medicine. The course comprises formal lectures, case discussions, practical workshops, an audience feedback system, Q&A sessions, a full syllabus, and on-demand course recordings. Also offered: remote learning.
